About the Position

The Donor Research Intern will report to the Senior Consultant and work as an integral part of a highly effective team to support BRAC USA’s strategic fundraising and development efforts.

  • The primary responsibility will be to conduct research on identified donors to see if there is a fit between the donor's priorities and our work at BRAC. The intern will conduct research using online and CRM tools to analyze and prioritize potential foundation and corporate philanthropies;
  • The intern will also support ongoing database management, including contact records and communication;
  • This position will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about BRAC's programs globally, while gaining in-depth insight into philanthropic trends and the fundraising process and contributing substantially to BRAC's resource development initiatives;
  • The intern will commit at least 10 hours per week; a portion of this time may be remote.



  • Proven interest in international development and nonprofit fundraising;
  • Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and research skills;
  • Database experience, such as Salesforce, preferred.
